I am now going back to State Farm due to their great customer service and their willingness to help me better understand what all the number talk means. "Never in 60 years of dealing with insurance has anyone screwed up a simple transfer of renters insurance from az to ut. Gave her all the information regarding agent and coverage In AZ. Wanted basically same coverage here as had been done multiple times. Ended up getting overbooked 4X the amount which has not been resolved yet so cancelled policy immediately when nothing done...now am still getting BILLED for time covered and paid for in Arizona...no response from state farm or Bekka...unbelievable."
"Hi Gloria - I know we've connected with you about this, but I wanted to respond publicly so our customers know that you've changed your mind towards your criticism of my office. As we discussed, you left your messages very early on a Saturday morning and unfortunately we didn't receive them until Monday morning when our office opened. We promptly returned your call at that time. We were able to complete the transfer of your renters policy from AZ to UT, but that did take time for State Farm to process. Normally it takes several business days to complete and because of the world wide COVID pandemic and all the natural disasters across the country this year State Farm is working requests as fast as they can. Understandably claim services for customers is a priority and the clerical transfers tend to take a few days longer than is typically normal. Now that we have discussed your billing I believe we are all understanding that you are not being over billed for your policies. I'm happy that my office was able to speak with you for an hour yesterday hearing about your life and making sure we have everything satisfied to your needs. While there was initial confusion about what was happening to your policy my office is thorough in our care for customers and responding to their needs. So glad it all worked out. I appreciate your feedback; we absolutely don't want you to think poorly of your experience and when problems are mentioned we work to fix them quickly. Take care."
